Landscape Maintenance Field Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional outdoor spaces. What you will do:

• Assisting with lawn care and landscape work on both residential and commercial jobsites.

• Using and maintain power tools such as quick cut saws, chain saws, plate tampers, power wheelbarrows, skills saws, sod cutter, rototiller, drills, etc.

• Install features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, water features, and planting beds.

• Raking, shoveling, spreading material, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, mulching, sweeping, etc.

• Assist crews in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe job site.

• Loading and unloading tools and materials from trucks and trailers.

• Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records of activities.

• Helping to secure tools, equipment, and materials before transport.

• Helping to improve efficiencies of the daily tasks.

What you will bring:

• Ability to work with power/hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials.

• Physically fit with good stamina.

• Ability to follow safe working procedures.

• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.

• Speak, read, and write English.

• Flexibility in working hours including occasional weekend work due to weather and job schedules.

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation to and from work sites.

• Personal smartphone with data plan for daily attendance marking, communication, and reporting.

Work Conditions:

• Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.

• Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.

• Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.

• Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and out-of-town work where required.

Job Type:

Pay:

• $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime

• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Landscaping/Outdoor Labour: 1 year (required)
